We had a good couple of days in the hotel and it was about what i expected. The view from our room was over the main road that runs right along the coast but the windows blocked out the noise. The hotel is in a prime loation to explore Puerto Banus. I dont really see what is so special about Marbella, the old town is pretty but thats about as far as it goes. If you have a hire car definately go up to Benahavis for a meal, its about a 15 minute drive but well worth it...and a welcome change from the bustle of the port.
Have just come back from the Andalucia Plaza and refurbishments ruined my stay. Its not really fair to pay for a night in a hotel only to be woken up by their own workmen drilling and banging nearby...on the plus side the noise did wake me up early every morning to a great buffet breakfast but i wouldn’t recommend the hotel even if they assure you the refurbishments have ceased, its by the main road, you have to go under a dodgy underpass to get to Puerto Banus and there is a busy car park on the other side. Not my idea of a relaxing holiday...
