Casa Fernandos is a family run restaurant that is considered by the locals (in the know) as one of the best fish restuarants in Marbella and has recently been awarded a recomendation in the Michelin Guide. They always say where the locals go is a good sign, well Casa Fernandos is certainly worth a visit!

Based in a large house outside of the bustle of San Pedro, Casa Fernandos offers a perfect dining retreat. The entrance to the restaurant is nicely lit by fairy lights but watch out for the three of the largest dogs you have seen are chained to the nearby tree.

You can dine either inside or on the fabulously decorated terrace which is the perfect setting for a romantic meal. Casa Fernando's sheer range of fish dishes clarifies that they know what they are talking about and they certainly do. My dining partner who does not even eat seafood claims this to be his favourite restaurant even though they only have three meat dishes because those three dishes he says are superb. Also the Jamon Iberico at the restaurant has to be tried for a starter.

Casa Fernandos has some of the friendliest staff you could care to meet and has everything you could wish for in terms of dining and setting. This is a little gem and I can't say any more really except that I highly recommend you go.

  Fabulous Food and Service

  A group of 30 people were there for dinner after a long, all day conference. The food, presentation and service were fantastic. It was a set menu with several choices, and I must say that they put a lot of thought into it and took great care of us. It was a lovely night out on the back patio. Thank you for your attentiveness and the great service especially.

  The best starters

  I had a lovely meal here just a few days ago - the fish baked in the salt. While it was very good, as was the whole meal, for me the best were the starters - platters of smoked ham, local cheese, a fantastic tuna mousse pate and crispy bread! Hard to beat.

  The best restaurant in the Coast

  It is a great restaurant with a brilliant atmosphere. The food is delicious and very good money value. The quality of the food and the presentation of the dishes are spectacular!!!

  Great Setting, Friendly Staff, Superb Food

  We first visited Casa Fernandos back in March 2005. Since living in Spain we have visited on several occasions - a favourite for special occasions and to impress visitors with their array of freshly caught fish!
