The restaurant is situated in one of the coolest and cosiest hotels on the coast. Why is this wonderful place not run by a food-loving chef? I visited the restaurant as a hotel guest at the beginning of november 2009. After studying the menu, I decided to go for the 85 Euro Menu. I love wine, but as i dont like to get drunk in restaurants, I prefer to buy wine "by the glass". In this restaurant you only have the choice between 1 red wine, 1 white wine and 1 rose wine. Not what one would expect from a restaurant wanting to be in the top-list. This 10 course menu looked incredibly delicious on the menucard. It was served on big, expensive plates and if the chef had been slightly interested in the food, like he was in choosing the plates, that would have saved the evening! All food was soaked in oil (yes, also the fish). The only good thing about the menu was the mango-flavoured ice cream with a chocolate topping. The fish and meat-dishes were all burnt with black spots on the meat from the grill making the food taste like something we made in summer-camp around the fire... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get a chef who knows how to satisfy an international crowd :-) Henrik
